Winsir Surface Conditioner WSA-80 is a colloidal titanium-based surface conditioner. It adsorbs colloidal titanium ions onto the workpiece surface. This increases nucleation sites for phosphating crystallization. The phosphating film becomes dense and fine. We tested this surface conditioner with an auto parts factory in Foshan. After using the conditioner, phosphating crystal size decreased from 20 microns to 5 microns. Salt spray test results improved by 20%. This surface conditioner meets GB/T 6807 standards. The concentration is 0.1% to 0.2% for powder or 2 to 5 ml/L for liquid. The pH is 8 to 9 (weakly alkaline). Treatment temperature is room temperature. Treatment time is 30 to 60 seconds for spray or immersion. After treatment with this surface conditioner, workpieces go directly to the phosphating bath. No rinsing is needed. Bath stability is 8 to 12 hours. Regular addition is needed to maintain effectiveness.
