Process and Bath Control Data
Winsir Zirconium-Based Conversion Coating Agent WST-TH follows a simple process. For cold-rolled and galvanized steel: degrease → water rinse → water rinse → conversion coat → water rinse → water rinse → drying. For hot-rolled steel: degrease → water rinse → acid pickling → water rinse → water rinse → conversion coat → water rinse → water rinse → drying. Treatment time is 1 to 3 minutes. Treatment temperature is room temperature. For bath preparation, clean the tank and add water to 60% capacity. Add 2% to 4% of this zirconium-based conversion coating agent and mix well. Maintain bath pH between 3.8 and 5.4.
