Application Areas for Wood Coatings

Wood coatings in my country are primarily used in two major sectors: furniture manufacturing and interior decoration (i.e., furniture finishes and home renovation coatings). Depending on the intended use of the wood products, they can be categorized as follows:
1. Wooden furniture: The primary application area for wood coatings, dominated by factory-based production; this is a key battleground for manufacturers of mid-to-high-end wood coatings.
2. Interior decoration: Primarily applied via manual brushing, this segment accounts for a significant share of market sales and is a competitive arena for manufacturers of low-to-mid-range coatings.
3. Wooden flooring: An application area that emerged alongside the rise of factory-produced wooden flooring; light-cured (UV-cured) coatings are the dominant type used here.
4. Wooden toys: Characterized mainly by opaque finishes; compliance with strict limits on heavy metal content is a critical quality requirement.
5. Pencil coatings: A specialized category of opaque wood coatings; in addition to requiring rapid drying, they must also meet strict limits on heavy metal content.
6. Outdoor wood products: Refers mainly to items such as chairs used in parks, swimming pools, and beach areas; these require a certain level of weather resistance.
