Winsir Glue on Wood Edging uses a two-part system. The main component is a specially modified high-molecular-weight PVAc emulsion. The crosslinker is a hydrophilic polyisocyanate. The mixing ratio is 100:15 by weight. The main component has a solid content of 52% ± 2%. At 25°C, the viscosity is between 8,000 and 18,000 centipoise. The pH value is between 6.0 and 7.0. After mixing, the working time is 30 to 45 minutes at 25°C. This glue on wood edging contains no formaldehyde. It meets CARB certification standards. The adhesive film is translucent. The refractive index is close to that of wood. The glue line is extremely thin, less than 0.1 millimeters.

Winsir Glue on Wood Edging has been tested rigorously. For water resistance, it reaches EN 204 D4 grade. The test method is a boil 4 hours - dry at 60°C for 16 hours - boil 4 hours cycle. The strength retention rate is above 85%. This means you can use it for bathroom cabinets and outdoor furniture. For bonding strength, the ASTM D-905 shear strength is 14 to 17 MPa. The wood failure rate is 95% or higher. When you cut the spliced board, the wood tears at the break. The glue line does not separate. For production efficiency, at 25°C with 15% coating weight, you can remove pressure after 45 to 60 minutes. You can plane, saw, or drill after 24 hours. You can produce two batches of panels per day.
