Winsir Glue for Wood Joining uses a two-part system. The main component is a high-molecular-weight modified polyvinyl acetate (PVAc) emulsion. The hardener is a hydrophilic polyisocyanate. You mix them at a ratio of 100:15 by weight. The main component has a solid content of 50% ± 2%. At 25°C, the viscosity is between 8,000 and 15,000 centipoise. The pH value ranges from 5.5 to 6.5. The hardener has an effective NCO content of about 15%. After mixing, you have a working time of 30 to 45 minutes at 25°C. This glue for wood joining contains no formaldehyde. It meets the CARB Phase 2 standard. The refractive index of the adhesive is adjusted to match oak and maple. This is why the glue line stays so clear and transparent.

We have tested Winsir Glue for Wood Joining thoroughly. The bonding strength is tested according to ASTM D-905 on North American maple. The shear strength reaches 16 to 19 MPa. The wood failure rate is over 95%. This means the glue joint is stronger than the wood itself. For water resistance, the product meets EN 204 D4 grade. It passes the boil-dry-boil cycle test. The strength retention rate is above 85%. This makes it suitable for outdoor furniture and bathroom cabinets. For curing speed, at temperatures above 20°C, you can remove the pressure after 45 to 60 minutes. Full strength is reached in 24 hours. This is 30% faster than traditional glues for wood joining.
