UV Resin Gallon

Ordinary matte coatings lose their finish over time. They also lack good feel. Winsir UV Resin Gallon is specially designed for excimer lamps at 172 nm wavelength. After curing, the surface forms nano-scale wrinkles. Gloss can drop to below 0.5 degrees as measured by a 60° gloss meter. The touch feels like silk. We tested this with a 3C housing factory in Guangdong. They used our UV resin gallon on phone cases. The surface feel was excellent and it resisted fingerprints. This product meets ISO 2813 standards. It is suitable for high-end furniture, consumer electronics, and automotive interiors.

Winsir UV Resin Gallon uses specially modified urethane acrylate with high-functionality monomers. The photoinitiator system is designed for 172 nm excimer lamps. Under nitrogen protection, the excimer lamp exposure causes instant surface cure and shrinkage. This forms nano-scale wrinkles of about 200 to 500 nm in depth. At 25°C, the No.4 cup viscosity is 25 to 35 seconds. Solid content is above 98%. Recommended coating weight is 30 to 50 grams per square meter. After excimer treatment, a conventional UV mercury or LED lamp is used for deep cure. This UV resin gallon has a slightly yellow clear liquid appearance with a density of 1.05 to 1.10 g/cm³.

Winsir UV Resin Gallon delivers extremely low gloss. Applied on black PC panels and cured with excimer, the 60° gloss reading is below 1 GU. Gloss uniformity is excellent with less than 0.5 GU variation at different angles. There is no clouding or graininess from traditional matting agents. For feel, the coefficient of friction per ASTM D-1894 is below 0.2. The touch feels like silk or velvet. For anti-fingerprint performance, the nano-wrinkle structure reduces fingerprint residue. The anti-soil rating per GB/T 9780-2013 is level 5 (highest). Fingerprints wipe off easily. For abrasion resistance, steel wool abrasion testing (500g load, 1000 cycles) shows no shiny marks. Pencil hardness is H or higher.
